THE ONLY WAY TO ETERNAL LIFE

A friend sends a picture in a platform, a couple of us. Are using in interchanging information. The picture he post. Was nothing else. But the picture of a young man. Who was at a gallows at Iraq. About to be hanged for refusing to give up his faith in Jesus Christ.

The paradox in the story was. This young man even at that gallows. Was feeling good. He was behaving as he was told. He was for the first time at an airport. To board a plane. To take him to Dubai for a honeymoon or Hawaii for a holiday.

As members of that our platform start to comment. Something was established. That young man understood what the scripture is saying in Rev. 20:4-15. Their shall be resurrection. First resurrection and second resurrection. The first resurrection for them. That shall continue to life. Those who shall life and reign with Christ Jesus. While the second resurrection, shall be for them. That shall dye again. Those who are going to suffer eternal with the devil in hell. Which is the second death. Which is to say, that young man, understood the topic before us.  JESUS, THE RESURRECTION & THE LIFE.

In Acts chapter 23, we saw the Sadducee s and Pharisees fighting each other. Because of resurrection. To the point of forgetting what they gathered together to do. The Sadducee s  was arguing, there was nothing like resurrection. Per adventure, there is someone in the same school of taught with the Pharisees reading this piece. 1 kings 17:17-24 said. There was a young man. The only son of a widow. Popularly known as the widow of the zarephat. Who suddenly became sick. The sick grew sore. Just in a record time. And in no time, he died. But when the widow and mother of the boy. Took the case to a prophet. The prophet took the case God. And God revive him. That is resurrected  him.

When I talk of resurrection. I talk of coming back to life. As in the coming back to life of our lord Jesus Christ. That  we Christians celebrates every year.  And when I talk of life. I talk of the situation of being cheerful. The state of still existing. The state of being alive. The state of not being dead.

In Mathew chapter 28. The scripture says. The elders of the Jews. In the day, following the crucifixion, the death, the burial  of our lord Jesus Christ. went and meet with Pilate. And said unto him. That deceiver (our lord, they are mischievously  addressing like that). When he was alive. Was preaching saying, after he where death. On the 3^rd day. He shall resurrect (come back to live again). And we know, it is impossible. What we perceive is . his followers will come and still his corpse. And then, go about preaching. He have resurrected. Therefore send centurions to make sure that his tomb.

Per adventure, there is someone reading this. Who is in the same school of taught with these Jewish leaders. Though  someone who just died, came back. But for someone, who have died and buried for days. That is impossible. The scripture 1 cor. 15:1-11 have this to say to you. It says, the resurrection of Jesus. After spending 3 days in grave. Was not witnessed by one person. Twelve persons, but by over five hundred and two persons. Even at AD 56, when the author of this scripture was penning down this. He was careful to add. That even at that very AD 56, that much of the witnesses of the resurrection of Jesus are still, very much alive.  

Which is to say. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is investigatable. You can go out there. And interview the witnesses yourself. 

And the early church historians, have this to add. The apostle, start to preaching the resurrection of Jesus. Within 50 days of His resurrection. By word of mouth. As if that is not enough. Within 2 years of the event (the death and resurrection of Jesus). They start to reach out to people. In written form.

Which is to say. The Apostle start preaching the resurrection of Jesus. While those that crucify Him (the Jewish leaders,  the centurions, the Roman soldiers etc) are very much alive. But no one of them. Ever say to them. Stop deceiving people. The person you are saying, he have resurrected. Isn’t this his tomb. Still very much intact. Or isn’t this His corpse. Non of them. Ever took that possible. Because, He (Jesus actually resurrected. Meaning resurrection even after burial is possible. 

Since resurrection is certain, what we ought to be doing. In psalm 49, the scripture was like. Carrying out a comparative analysis. He said, a wealthy man will not be able to redeem his bother/sister. Nor pay the precious ransom. Demanded of God, to ransom himself. From the grave. But I know someone who can. The scripture says, the man Jesus was able to present to God. That precious Holy blood. Demanded of Him (God) for our ransom. Praise master Jesus.

Something happened not long ago. Oprah Winfrey have a lady in her TV show. One thing led to another during their conversation. And the lady said. Jesus is the only way to heaven. Oprah said to the woman. No, Jesus is not the only way to heaven. But one of the ways to heaven.

So another TV show guru, by name Larry King. Decide to use the opening to magnate audience to his own show. He invite a pastor to come in his show for an interview. And did the other necessary, to get audience to tune in, unto his show. During the interview on the appointed day. He asked the pastor. Pastor is Jesus, the only way to heaven. The pastor replied and said. Larry only God knows.

Per adventure, there’s a reader of this writing. Who like that pastor. Is not sure, if Jesus is the only way to heaven or not. Or anyone, who like Oprah. Is of the school of taught.  Jesus is but only 1 of the ways to heaven. 

Here this, John 11:17-27 says. When Jesus and Martha were having conversation. It was moving very smoothly. But immediately Martha said to Jesus. I know that my brother, Lazarus shall resurrect at the last day. Jesus was like hold it there. That was only half of the truth. The whole/entire truth is.  I (Jesus) am the Resurrection and the life. Note, it didn’t say. We are the Resurrection and the life. Neither did it say. I am part of the resurrection and life. It says, very plainly. I am the resurrection and life. Whoever believe in me. Though he/she were death. He/she shall live.

According to Long man dictionary of contemporary English. When we say, we believe in someone or something. We are saying we trust in the person. We have confidence in that thing. As in to be able to successfully do that. Which we want to use it for.

When I was meditating on this writing. My lord say I should congratulate. Many who before now. Have believe in Jesus. He say, I should tell you. Because you trust in Jesus. You are in honor. He said, because you have confidence in Jesus. I should tell you. In this life. You shall have peace. In the life to come. You shall not experience hell. In the life to come, you shall make heaven. You state shall be cheerful. You shall live and reign with Christ. You shall live as kings and priest.

Par adventure, there is someone reading this. Who have not believe in Jesus. I have good news for you. The scripture says, today is a day of salvation. Today is the day of grace and a year of jubilee. If you shall turn. And put your trust in Jesus. You sins shall be forgiven.

To help us understand better. Personality is a part of ones wiring that determine. Whether today's dreams of career and service become tomorrows night mares.


My mentor told a story of one guy. Whose hobby is polishing English. Making write up simple and interesting to read. He decide them to pursue a career in journalism. After school. He land a land, as an editor with a publishing company. In line with his job description. Every working day. He took his works assigned to him. Go into his office. And do that which he knows how to do best. Best his appraisal is always good. His boss decide to promote him. To become a manager. Which his promotion comes with higher pay.
But this happen. After 3 weeks, he resigned. Went to another company. And land another job like his former job. Because his managerial job is giving him a night mare. He is contented working alone. But his managerial job means he spends most of his working hour making calls. Receiving calls, having meeting with clients (editors).

 From this story, we can deduce some people are project oriented. While others are people oriented.

When we ask a project oriented person. To undertake jobs, that requires meeting people. That person will feel suffocation, being a misfit, etc. The same goes with asking peoples oriented person to undertake a job that demand working alone all the time.


These people oriented people and projected oriented people are commonly refereed to as EXTROVERTS and INTROVERTS, respectively.

Neither extroverts or introverts are better than the others. Every one is unique on his/her own. The difference is on where they go to find energy. And where they focus most of their concentration.

While Extroverts find their energy in things and people. Being pulled by this outer life of interaction. They spend less time with thoughts and concepts.

Introverts find energy in inner world of ideas. Which results in them.  Requiring less from the outside world. Which is to say, they focus their energy inwards. They're energized by times, when they can be alone to ponder on thoughts. Let their minds wonder. They can work contentedly by themselves on a job. They prefer sending emails and notes. Instead of talking directly with people.

Which is to say, while extroverts are cuties. Their strengths being aimed outward to interact with the world. Introverts are innies, with an introvert. What you see is just a shell. They tend to reserve the strongest part of their personality focus inward, out of the world view.

Now on brain hemisphere preference. Brains have 2 separate but connected halves. known as the left hemisphere and right hemisphere. And we all (both children, adults, youths, students, workers) have preference for one over the other.

While left side of brain handles sequential, logical, rational thoughts. Memorizing, spelling, vocabulary, language and mathematical formulas comes easily to it (left side of brain). So do following rules, making decisions based on logic, proof and facts. It (left brain side) deal with the world, the way it is. Its reality and rules. Helps one adjust to fit their environment.

Right side of brain is in charge of creativity and feelings. Instead of dealing with the world. The way it is, right brain thinking looks at the way. Things could be. Which is to say, Right brain hemisphere is innovative.


Now imagine situation, where a right brain thinker is in a job that requires cramming, memorizing, all the time. He/she shall be having headaches, fatigue, burnout, frequent illnesses. Not to mention procrastination, frustration, mistakes, poor concentration, moodiness, memory problem. And a pretty low view of herself/his self. Which are the proven consequences of forcing oneself. To use the other side of the brain,  In opposition to his/her natural brain preference. For we all have preference for one brain hemisphere. Over the other.

From the above depositions, we can deduce. We have RIGHT THINKING and INTROVERTED PERSONS. RIGHT THINKING and EXTROVERTED PERSONS. LEFT THINKING and INTROVERTED PERSONS. And LEFT THINKING and EXTROVERTED PERSONS.

The left brained and extroverted people  according to experience and research finding. Are successful in endeavors/careers/fields that involve. Negotiating, leadership, goal setting and decision making, management.

The right brained and extroverted people in careers/endeavors/fields that involve: trouble shooting, Entrepreneurial-starting new ventures, self directed activity (consultant, small business owner), marketing, public relations, teaching, counseling.


The left-brained and introverted people. In fields, etc that involve; Researching, Diagnosing, Accounting, book keeping, Engineering, Lecturing, Acting, Public Speaking.

And the right-brained and introverted people in careers/endeavors that involve;  computer programming, Composing, guiding, counseling, pastoral activities, self directed work situations (resource specialist or consulting), designing new things.


Which explains why,  Joe Abraham, one of my mentor,  refer to these people as;  OPPORTUNISTS,  BUILDERS, SPECIALISTS and INNOVATORS respectively.

Reasons Joe Abraham refer to the classification of people we have here as, Opportunists, Builders, Specialist and Innovators is because of their characteristic.

The opportunist have the following characteristics. They have the tendency to make as much money as possible. Think  quick money-making deal, a real estate quick-flip, or an IPO.

The Builders are driven, cold, ruthless and calculating. They are the ultimate chess player in the game of business. Always looking to be two or three moves ahead of the competition. Loves building a business from the ground up.

The specialists tends to stick with an industry for 15-30 years. Build strong expertise but can struggle to stand out in a crowded market place of competitors.

While the innovators have the tendency to build a business around an accidentally stumbled across  breakthrough invention, recipe, concept, system, product, etc.

The question now is,  which one among these people is best for the opening or vacancy in your office. Secondly, how do you know, the  innate potential or classification of the applicants for the vacancy or opening in your office belong.

For the  best  persons  for the opening. You have to matchmaker the job descriptions. With respect to the vacancies. Using the characteristics of the four class of people we have here. Which are the Left-brained and extroverted, right-brained and extroverted, left-brained and introverted and right-brained and introverted yourself. Or by your human resource department.

But as for how to  qualify the applicants. Being able to determine  the innate potentials is very important.

Someone says,  discover your purpose in life and potentials. Discover your business. And I believe same to be true. For when you know your potentials. You know the areas, you will excel if you acquire competency and exposure in that area.

Because key to wealth making is serving others.  supplying/meeting other peoples wants/needs. Or giving to ones society, generation, community.  As they'll say it in religious circles. HOW TO OVERCOME ENVY

Dear Friend.

Frankly speaking, envy is natural. But the good news is. It can be overcome. Below are established ways to live above it (envy):

Have a vision.

Discover your innate potential (purpose, flavour, talent, etc) and develop them.

Discover your spiritual gifts (teaching, evangelism, etc). And develop them.

These way or ways, you feel special too. Rather than feeling envious.

Best Legacy To Leave Your Posterity

Friends in view of the argument. Which legacy is best to leave ones children and posterity.

As much as I don't want to disagree with the school of taught that says. The best legacy to leave ones posterity is education. And the other that says. It is properties.

I want to say. It have been established that the best legacy to leave ones children or posterity is good name/reputation.  If you doubt it, ask the ziglers.

KEYS 4 ACCELERATED PROMOTION

Friends.

I didn't know, if you know the story of Joseph. The guy that was promoted from prison to palace. Whenever I read that story. I get inspired.

These days, It's not a rocket science. Yet it is possible to happen to someone.

Below are attitudes. That need to be in place. In the life of whomever, desire such promotion. From prison to palace. Or as we call it. From grass to grace.

Firstly, such a one, need to recognize that God owns the earth and everything in it. Including you and me. Gen. 39:5; Ps 24:1; Haggi 2:8; Ps 50: 10-11; 1 Cor. 6:19-20.

Recognize we (human beings) are created/designed to be His stewards. As in those who manages His properties and financial affairs here.

Be faithful in where ever He have place you. And in whatever He have committed in your hand.
